Fan and Machinery Guards

Home Page  |  Company Profile  |  RFQ

We have been supplying fan and machinery guards for industry since our inception in 1975. We are familiar with the seasonal nature and short lead times characteristic of the Agricultural and HVAC industries.  Our job shop scheduling provides the flexiblity to deliver products on time to our customers.

Our continous spiral construction of fan guards allows uniformity of spacing and improved
appearance by eliminating the butt welds found in concentric ring design.

Listed below are examples of typical applications that may require a fan or machinery guard.

  • fans/heaters - guards for fan blades, heating elements

  • air compressors-guards for belts and rotating shafts

  • lighting equipment-guards to protect bulbs from breakage

Fan guards can be designed in many different configurations.  A "split guard" design can allow
easy access to the fan blade and motor without removing the guard from the unit.  Two guard
halves are constructed and hinged together at initial installation.  Construction equipment may
require a guard with a heavy wire mesh design to withstand the abuses of the jobsite.

Wire spacing on most fan guards is typically 1/2" on center.  Some applications may require wider spacing to avoid restricting the air flow to the fan.  Our current range of spacing on guards is from 1/2" c.c. to 1.4" c.c.  Tooling can be designed to accomodate other spacing required.
